	A team of Life Support Specialists maintain The Mirage Dolphin Habitat Life Support System, which is completely automated and runs continuously 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

	In case of electrical power loss, an emergency diesel generator will come on within two minutes and can remain powered until electricity is restored.

	The dolphin habitat filtration system filters water at a rate of 15,000 gallons per minute. This is the amount of water found in the average home swimming pool. If the dolphin habitat filtration system was connected to a home pool it could drain, refill and adjust the water chemistry within two minutes.

	There is ten times more chlorine in drinking water than there is in the dolphin habitat pools.

	The filtration system at The Mirage Dolphin Habitat is designed with redundancy. This keeps our environment well above the required standards.

	Underwater pool maintenance is accomplished with a Dive Safety Officer and Certified SCUBA divers.
