A leopard curls its tongue like a spoon
to lap up water and after several laps it will drink
the water in one gulp.
Leopards are solitary by nature and come together only
to breed. Each one lives alone in its home range but
in some places home ranges for individuals may overlap.
Leopards are nocturnal, coming out to hunt at night.
Leopards have been known to demonstrate huge strength
and can carry a fully grown male antelope or even a young
giraffe high into tree tops.
